About GPSL

GPSL was formed with the main objective of bringing in prosperity around its operational area through development and progressive culture while manufacturing sugar and its allied by-products from sugarcane supplied by its member and others.

Located At-Gopuj, Tal.-khatav, Dist.-Satara in Maharashtra state, it is situated on Karad –Vaduj road State Highway no. 124. The nearest railway station is Karad, 30 km from the factory site.

GPSL is a public limited company, incorporated on 29.03.2006.

The crushing capacity of sugar factory is 3500 TCD along with 15 MW cogeneration plant. Recently a fully functional 45 KLPD capacity distillery unit has been added. In view of the increasing availability of sugarcane in operational area of sugar factory, the management has a plan to increase the crushing capacity from 3500 TCD to 5000 TCD along with 28 MW cogeneration plant.
